Management Team

Graham Lumsden is Chief Executive Officer and Founder, bringing more than 35 years of development, commercial, and executive experience across both animal and human health. He has led multiple biopharmaceutical companies as CEO, including Biomarck Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Motif Bio plc, and Tiemed LLC, and currently serves as a Director at Kibow Therapeutics. Earlier in his career, he spent more than two decades in senior leadership roles at Merck & Co., working across animal health and human therapeutics. Dr. Lumsden holds a BVM&S from the University of Edinburgh, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and is a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Peter Hanson is Chief Scientific Officer and Founder, with more than 30 years of experience spanning clinical medicine, drug development, and executive leadership in both animal and human health. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at eGenesis and Chief Development and Operations Officer at Centrexion Therapeutics, and held senior R&D roles at Merck, Merial, and Abbott, focusing on pain, oncology, parasitology, and vaccines. Dr. Hanson earned a BA summa cum laude and DVM from the University of Minnesota and completed advanced surgical and research training, including an MS and PhD, at the University of Wisconsin. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Derrick Williams is a finance executive, investment banker and strategic advisor with more than 30 years of experience focusing on corporate strategy, capital planning and M&A advisory. Over the past decade, he has served as a fractional CFO, bringing institutional-level financial rigor, transaction execution experience and an investor perspective to startups and high-growth businesses. Mr. Williams began his investment banking career at UBS and Robinson Humphrey and co-founded a boutique investment banking firm dedicated to advising entrepreneurs from inception through exit. He holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a BA in Political Science from Yale University.
Board of Directors

John A. Horvath is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 30 years of experience in public and private accounting. His expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, tax strategy, capital formation, and financial structuring. Prior to joining EisnerAmper, he was President and Founding Member of Horvath & Giacin, P.C., advising clients across the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Horvath was also a founding member and incorporator of The Bank of Princeton, which has grown into a publicly traded institution. He has served as Controller of a Fortune 100 company and as a board member for multiple startups in fintech and biotechnology.

Douglas Hutchison is a veterinary surgeon with extensive experience across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and agtech. He founded a global veterinary publishing company that became a market leader before its sale in 2000, and has since focused on investing in and advising early-stage life sciences companies. Mr. Hutchison has served as a non-executive director of numerous companies in the U.K. and U.S., and has held advisory roles with leading academic institutions, including the University of Glasgow Veterinary School and the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Clinton A. Lewis Jr. brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of AgroFresh, a global leader in post-harvest solutions that enhance the quality and longevity of fresh produce. During his tenure, he led the company’s transition from public to private ownership with backing from Paine Schwartz Partners. Mr. Lewis previously held senior executive roles at Zoetis, where he served as President of U.S. Operations and President of International Operations, playing a key role in the company’s spinout from Pfizer and subsequent IPO. He holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Fairfield University.

Jon Gold is Chief Financial Officer of Revolo Biotherapeutics, where he oversees financial strategy and operations. He brings more than two decades of experience across public company leadership, investment management, and capital markets. Mr. Gold previously held executive roles at Motif Bio plc and served as Managing Director at JEG Capital Partners LLC. He also spent over eight years at Federated Hermes. He holds an MBA and a BS in Accounting and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.

Stephen Kirton is Founder and President of Circa Healthcare, an independent firm specializing in animal health and life sciences. Since founding the firm in 2004, he has built Circa into a global partner serving clients across pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, biotechnology, and medical devices. Mr. Kirton previously served as Director of Client Services at Euro RSCG Life and as President of Hemisphere Group, developing a strong foundation in healthcare communications and brand strategy.

Duncan Lascelles is Professor of Small Animal Surgery and Comparative & Translational Pain Research at North Carolina State University. His work focuses on advancing the understanding and treatment of pain in animals, with important implications for human health. Dr. Lascelles trained at the University of Bristol and the University of Cambridge, with further research at Colorado State University and the University of Florida. He has authored more than 260 peer-reviewed publications and delivered over 600 lectures worldwide.

John Marcus is a veterinarian-entrepreneur with experience spanning clinical practice, veterinary consolidation, and healthcare technology. He gained his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School and previously served as Director of Partnerships at United Veterinary Care, where he led the acquisition of more than 75 veterinary hospitals, contributing to the growth of a $200 million platform. Mr. Marcus was also the owner of New Hope Veterinary Hospital, where he significantly expanded the business, and co-founded VPT Systems, developing a cloud-based platform to support veterinary operations.

Nicola Mason is Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School, where she has spent more than two decades advancing translational research at the intersection of veterinary and human medicine. Her work focuses on comparative oncology and immunotherapy, leveraging naturally occurring cancers in animals to inform the development of new treatments. Dr. Mason previously served as CEO of Vetigenics LLC. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from the Royal Veterinary College in London.

Errol Taylor is a leading biopharmaceutical attorney with decades of experience in intellectual property, licensing, and complex litigation. He led the biopharma patent practice at Milbank LLP from 2003 to 2020 and has served as lead trial counsel in numerous high-profile, multinational cases involving major pharmaceutical products. Mr. Taylor is widely recognized by Chambers USA, IAM, and other leading publications, and serves on multiple nonprofit and academic boards, including New York Law School, where he is also an adjunct professor.
